Young MIAS, led by Brian Vaca of Huges Hubbard & Reed LLP (view his MIAS profile here) is Florida’s premiere network for young practitioners and students interested in developing their careers in international arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. Young MIAS finds its roots and functions as a young professional organization under the auspices of the Miami International Arbitration Society (MIAS).

Young MIAS organizes various educational and professional development programs, receptions and other social events to help bring young professionals and students together to exchange ideas and experiences about international arbitration and dispute resolution.

Young MIAS Member Spotlight: Andres Eskenazi Boné

This month, we’re excited to feature Andres Eskenazi Boné, an attorney in the Miami office of Reed Smith and a member of the firm’s Global Commercial Disputes Group. Andres focuses his practice on international dispute resolution, with experience in international commercial and investment arbitrations, as well as domestic commercial and real estate litigation matters.

This month, we’re excited to feature Gabriella Lanzas, an attorney in the Miami office of Holland & Knight and a member of the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice. Gabriella focuses her practice on international arbitration and complex disputes before federal and state courts. She works on matters across the major international arbitral institutions and brings a thoughtful, globally informed perspective to cross-border disputes.

In addition to maintaining a vibrant practice, Jean Paul is actively involved in the international arbitration community. He serves as Assistant Editor for Investment Arbitration at the Kluwer Arbitration Blog and as a Regional Representative for Young ICCA, where he contributes to academic discussions and helps organize initiatives connecting young arbitration professionals worldwide. Outside of work, Jean Paul is passionate about football and a proud Liverpool FC fan.

Renzo has over 12 years of experience in domestic and international arbitration, particularly in construction disputes. He has represented investors in some of the largest and most important public construction projects in LatAm and Peru, including in industries such as transportation (roads, ports, airports, bridges), irrigation, energy, education, oil, gas and mining. He also has experience dealing with design, EPC, EPCM, BOT, BOOT and FIDIC contracts.
